The XBOX 360 Glitches

Gaming fanatics lined up for hours Monday to be among the first to purchase the next-generation system, which was in short supply despite its starting price tag of $299.99. Microsoft hopes to sell 2.5 million to 3 million of the new systems in the first 90 days.

However shit does happens. Some consumer had reported multiple crashes and screen freeze of the XBOX due to a suspectedly heating problem. Looking at the gigantic PSU for the XBOX360, it wasnt designed to be held down on the floor with no airing ventilation below it. Some poeple had overcome this problem by liftting the power supply in midair; Airgo Airflow. Though its not a huge pandemic of the XBOX360, Microsoft spokeman said that its only a small fraction of XBOX having this problem.

IMHO its not reall a huge dael after all. Imagine this, if it were 3 million TV's that had shipped, do you think they all would have worked fine? Of course not. Electronics is not perfect. Failures happen and is completely normal. Microsoft is doing their best to satisfy the customer. They are going above and beyond with their return policy with the free shipment returns for the faulty ones. 3rd Party companies should take advantage of this faulty design as they could make a special ventilator fan for the XBXO360 PSU. Id bet lik-sang and other companies are working on it already now ^_^
