I was shopping for a headset with microphone and guess what ? A reall stupid marketting term popped up on the box of the headset. "Support Skype" so does support skype mean that it doesnt support msn? What if i dont have a soundcard? Will it still be able support skype? The key factor of weather it will support skype or not does not lies on the headset. The headset acts as a electronic tools that acts as a medium to send analog signals to your PC through your sound card to be interepreted and processed by Skype. Therefore weather or not it will support skype or not it depends on your audio driver configuration to recieve external input from the microphone. If u wanna market something.. market it right.
