NARUTARDS!!!

Hey there, finally i've managed to force my self to write a review of the recent naruto episode release, BEHOLD episode 124. At last after an incessant amount of flashbacks and recaps, we are presented with high quality naruto action, and we are reminded once again of why we came to love our favourite anime show. Continue, for my review.

Like i said before, finally they've changed gears and picked up the pace in this explosive latest episode released on thursday. As usually i was eagerly awaiting for the latest subbed version to be released by DatteBayo, and at last the did. At first i dreaded that this episode would be similar to previous ones ( 3-4 previous episodes ), where im guessin coz they wanted to delay the anime so that it doesn't catch up with the manga, they had to resort to endless flashbacks and unnecessary backstory that did not appear in the manga. To add to the damage, they had reduced the animation quality severely, especially in scenes with Naruto and his Kage-Bunshins.

But, to my relief, this latest episode rocked my socks of, i guess the previous episodes sucked since they put so much attention to this one. It started of with Rock-Lee having shown his "Dynamic Entry" to the unsuspecting Kimimaro, distracting him from pursuing Naruto who is chasing after the "new" sasuke. All hell breaks lose after Lee accidentally mistakes sake for his medicine. What happens next, is purely anime at its best. The fight scene was so intense and detailed, they actually managed to accurately potray Drunken Fist and i felt like i was watching a scene from the drunken master movies. I've always look forward to watch fights with Lee in it. I would say this fight scene is in my top 3 fight sequences in naruto , closely tied with the Gaara/Lee fight for 2nd spot (First: Kage Battle). Plus, Kimimaro looked really cool with bones coming out of him, but it would be nice if they had added in some blood and flesh in it as in the manga.

The ending was done skilfully as well, with the right balance of suspense put into it. Although i was not surprise at all. WHY? Cause i read the manga, yes i know, i am weak...haha. The entry of the sand shinobis was great, and it did help to raise the anticipation of fans for the next episode. Can't wait to see gaara in action again after a long hiatus from some ass whupping by Naruto. Love the sands new look as well. So what does this mean for us naruto fans. This episode was certainly a saviour, I was kinda worried that this arc would end up being crap because of the pacing and animation problems plaguing the previous episodes. Good thing they sped it up a bit.

SO there it is...my first review ever, that's why when i read it again, i think it's crap..haha..well..u have to start form somewhere. I'll probably lose interest and stop giving out reviews, but who knows eh? Anyway, I'm still waiting for the 250 manga to be released, and it sure is gonna be good. I hope.
