A new service i believe is being introduced in Malaysia called Handimail. Apparently its a service to recieve email "AS SMS" on your phone. At first i tought oh, what a neat idea (if they are giving a free service) it turned out they were charging for each message. Here's the stupid part. They're giving away 100 msgs free and you'll have to pay after that. Imagine this .. 1 email has more than 160 characters (max char per sms) imagine an email with 1600 characters then you'll have to pay :

Maxis 20 sen / message*
DiGi 20 sen / message*
Celcom 30 sen / message*

so RM2 just for 1 email ? Who the fuck would want that ? lolx imaging getting spam on email. Paying for recieving SPAM on phone ?? WTF ! hahahhaha i dont think this service is practicle. Though you can always check your email on your phone anyway all u need is a GPRS connectivity on your phone. Which i know most new phone supports now. Anyway i dont know how this service works but im guessing they only pluck the email headers and sent it on to your phone. I guess.. blahhh 20 sen permsg just to get email header ... thanks but no thanks ...
